FAQS

Can I make them lighter after my first treatment?

Unfortunately, this is difficult. That is why I take so much care in deciding the color with our client. During the measuring process, we will discuss color. We do not let our clients go darker than their indigenous color and we use precision in our application as depth can distort and deepen color. You can add color but it is very hard to take away.

Can I make them darker after my first treatment?

Yes, you can! Sometimes clients feel after the healing process is completed that they want to go darker on the second visit. This can be done.

Why do I have to wait 4-6 weeks before my second treatment?

The full healing process takes up to 4-6 weeks. The strokes may disappear and re-appear. We need to wait the full amount of time to ensure which hairs need the touch-up.

What does shrinkage mean?

Shrinkage happens as Microblading is healing and over time. As the strokes that mimic the individual hairs heal, you may notice them becoming slightly shorter in length.

Can you make my eyebrows longer?

Yes! All this is part of the artistry of Microblading and will be discussed during measuring. If you are only missing some tail hairs or beginning hairs they can be added during the procedure.

I don't have any brows, is Microblading right for me?

Yes! Microblading will be perfect for you! Finally, there is a solution for people suffering from hair loss or Alopecia. Microblading is the most natural looking eyebrow simulation available.

How do you pick the right color?

The pigments are chosen based on natural eyebrow hair color. If you dye your brows, Microblading is not recommended.

How long does it last?

One year minimum. Some up to two years with color boost. Different skin tones have different retention. We see that normal and dry skin individuals have the best retention. Oily skin tones tend to have worse retention, and for them, we recommend the three step process. Furthermore, the lighter colors will fade faster and may need a refresh sooner than darker colors. All of these aspects play a role. In addition, outside factors will play a role. Sun exposure, facial peels, and retinol products can shorten the life of your Microblading.

Does it hurt?

Before your treatment begins a topical numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize discomfort. This is then followed by a liquid anesthetic. Discomfort varies from person to person.

why do i need a touch up?

In order to to achieve the desired results you will also need to set up a touch up appointment 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment. Your brows will need to be fully healed before the first touch up.

Yearly Touch Ups
Yearly touch ups can be scheduled if you would like to deposit more color onto your brows. The period in between touch ups will depend on your skin type and how it affects the pigments of your tattoo. It is best to do yearly maintenance touch ups to avoid paying higher prices for touch ups on faded brows.

Can I bring a guest?

NO GUESTS: Please do not bring guests with you to your appointment because they can often times be distracting.  In order to give my clients the best brows possible I must be able to have my full attention on them!

what is the cancellation policy?

Any appointments cancelled within one week of appointment date will forfeit their deposit and will not be able to transfer deposit to a later date. Same day cancellations will be charged for the price of the FULL SERVICE. Please understand that my schedule is very busy and would like to take as many clients as possible. I have set aside time for your appointment and without proper notice I will not be able to find a replacement for your appointment time.

what happens if i am running late?

Appointments will be CANCELLED and no refunds will be given if the client is more than 15 minutes late to their appointment. I take multiple clients a day and need the full amount of time for each appointment. You may schedule a new appointment but will need to place another deposit.

what if i need to reschedule?

Rescheduling appointments will be possible if I am given a one week notice prior to your scheduled appointment. Due to limited appointment availability we may not be able to reschedule your appointment until a much later date. Promotional rates may change if you reschedule your appointment to a later date. If you are rescheduling your TOUCH UP the rates will change depending on what time frame you schedule your new appointment (use price lists as reference). If you are rescheduling within one week of your appointment date you will forfeit your deposit and will not be able to transfer deposit to a later date. A new deposit will need to be made when rescheduling a future appointment

is a deposit required?

When booking your appointment you will be asked to place a deposit for your service. This deposit will be applied to your total fee that is due the same day of your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
